I extend my gratitude to the forces of the universe that “carve out” the space for spoon carving in my life. It is a true gift to find your way to something you love to do, and to have that something expand your heart and mind, and to be able to share that something with others. With every creative endeavor, and with every privilege that affords us the time to create, we are giving, receiving, and taking from the world around us. Here’s to doing that giving, receiving, and taking with kindness and gratitude.
I’ll be demonstrating green wood spoon carving on Saturday, August 17th in Hampstead, NH for the 275th festivities/Hampstead Historical Society, and Sunday the 18th I’ll be teaching beginning green wood spoon carving in Sandwich, NH at the Center Sandwich Fine Craft Gallery.
